Vitor Costa

Based in Felgueiras, Portugal, Vitor Costa brings an architect’s eye to everything he creates. He began developing his graphic work alongside his architecture studies, with a lasting preference for painting and drawing. His art explores geometric form, formal synthesis and the expressive force of the line, often echoing the clear colour and structure of the Bauhaus tradition. Nature, contrast and harmony shape his thinking, as do arrangements that catch the viewer off guard and invite a second look. For Vitor, art is first and foremost a form of personal fulfilment, and a restless creative drive keeps him searching for something new and surprising with each work.
