    Terms & conditions

These terms and conditions apply when you as a consumer place an order on www.postery.com or any of our related pages. The agreement is between you and Postery AB, Drottninggatan 5 1tr, 411 14 Gothenburg, Sweden (company reg. no. 559128-6405). These terms apply to consumers only.

    General

To place an order with us, you must be at least 18 years old. In accordance with Swedish law, we do not accept credit purchases from persons under 18. We reserve the right to deny or amend an order if incorrect personal information has been provided or if there is a record of non-payment.

We are not liable for products being out of stock, or for any image or typographical errors on the website — including errors in product descriptions, pricing, or stock availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors at any time. If an incorrect price has been stated for your order, we will notify you and await your approval before proceeding.

All images on the website are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly represent the appearance, quantity, or origin of the product. We are not responsible for information provided by third parties on the website.

The website and all its content — including trademarks, product names, images, graphics, design, and layout — is owned by Postery or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. Nothing may be copied or used without our prior written consent.

Postery sells wall art for home and office, including posters, canvas prints, frames, accessories and wallpaper. Products are produced and dispatched by one of our fulfilment partners and delivered by third-party carriers. Payments on postery.com are processed by Adyen N.V., who handles the payment transaction on our behalf. Postery AB is the legal entity responsible for the sale and for payment processing.

    Orders & Agreement

A purchase agreement is formed when we have confirmed your order and you have received an order confirmation by email. We encourage you to save this confirmation for any future contact with our customer service.

You may cancel your order up until it has been confirmed by us. If cancelled, we will refund any payment made in full.

    Personal Data & Account

When you visit postery.com and make a purchase, we process your personal data to provide the best possible experience and to fulfil your order. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. For full details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.

If you have an account with us, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. Do not share your username or password with anyone. If you suspect that an unauthorised person has accessed your account, please notify us immediately. You are responsible for any purchases made using your login details until we have been notified.

We reserve the right to block access to an account or issue new login details if we suspect misuse or a violation of these terms.

For any questions related to your personal data or GDPR, you can contact us directly at sebastian.johansson@postery.com.

You can subscribe to our newsletter at any time and unsubscribe just as easily — every email includes an unsubscribe link. For more information on how we handle your data in relation to marketing, see our Privacy Policy.

    Pricing & Payment

All prices on the website are shown in the currency relevant to your market and include VAT. Shipping and payment fees are shown separately at checkout.

We offer a range of payment methods as specified at checkout. We reserve the right to charge your payment method at the time of ordering, unless invoicing or a similar payment method has been selected and approved. We reserve the right to change or limit available payment methods at any time.

    Special Offers

We may from time to time offer promotions or discounts with conditions that differ from these general terms — for example, extended return windows or special pricing. Such offers apply for the duration stated and for the specific products included. We reserve the right to withdraw any offer at any time. Once an offer has ended, these general terms apply in full.

    Shipping

For full details on delivery times, costs, and carriers, please see our Shipping Policy.

    Returns & Right of Withdrawal

We offer a 90-day return policy — well beyond the 14-day right of withdrawal required by EU consumer law. If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, you have 90 days from the date of delivery to return it. For full details on how to make a return, please see our Return Policy.

    Warranty & Complaints

Some of our products may come with a warranty. Any applicable warranty period and conditions are stated on the product page or in these terms. Warranties cover original manufacturing defects only and do not apply to faults arising from modifications, upgrades, or misuse. Your order confirmation serves as your warranty certificate.

If you receive a product that you believe is defective under applicable consumer protection law, please contact us as soon as possible after discovering the defect. You can reach us via the contact information at the bottom of this page.

We will cover the cost of return shipping for any approved complaint. Once we have received and reviewed the returned product and approved the complaint, we will issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation — typically within 30 days of receiving the complaint, though this may vary depending on the nature of the product.

We reserve the right to decline a complaint if the product is found not to be defective under applicable law. In all complaint matters, we follow the guidelines of the relevant national dispute resolution body in your country. For customers in Sweden, this is the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN). For customers in other EU countries, we follow the guidelines of the equivalent national authority.

    Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. While we make efforts to link only to sites with responsible privacy and data practices, we are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or data handling of any external sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.

    Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to labour disputes, acts of war, fire, terrorist attacks, changes in government regulations, technical failures, or delays from suppliers due to similar circumstances. In such cases, we will inform you as soon as possible. If the situation persists for more than two months, both you and we are entitled to cancel the order with immediate effect.

    Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Changes take effect once you have accepted the updated terms — for example, by making a new purchase — or 30 days after we have notified you of the changes. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay up to date.

    Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining terms continue to apply in full. Any invalid provision will be replaced by the relevant legal guidance.

    Disputes & Governing Law

We always aim to resolve disputes through dialogue with our customer service team as a first step.

If we are unable to reach a resolution, you can submit a complaint through the EU Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Your complaint will be forwarded to the relevant national dispute resolution body, who will work with us to find a solution outside of court. We follow the decisions of the relevant dispute resolution body.

Any disputes regarding these terms may ultimately be settled by the courts.

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you live in another country, you also keep the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
