Karen Menzenbach

Karen Menzenbach discovered her passion for patterns and botanical illustration while studying interior design in Germany, drawn to colour, pattern, and all things botanical from the start. Her pieces begin as watercolour paintings on paper, later scanned and digitally refined, letting her combine colour, shape, and structure with a hands-on, analogue touch, bringing the same warmth and charm to festive, seasonal themes as she does to her everyday work. She has since made the Mediterranean her home, gathering inspiration from the landscapes and old towns of Mallorca, as well as road trips across Europe in her campervan, always with the aim of making the world a little more beautiful.
