Cockatoo and Pomegranate by Ohara Koson Poster

A striking cockatoo poster with a deep black background, soft white plumage and rich red fruit creates a dramatic, refined look on the wall. The contrast between the dark backdrop and the bright bird gives the artwork a bold presence, while the muted branch and leafy details add depth and character. Inspired by classic art, it brings an elegant and collected feel to the room. Ideal for a living room, hallway or office, this animal poster works beautifully as a statement piece on its own or as part of a gallery wall. The dark palette adds definition to light interiors and pairs well with wood, black accents and natural textiles. A great choice for anyone looking for timeless wall art with an expressive, decorative style.

A piece like this could work beautifully in a living room, hallway, or bedroom where the deep black background can add contrast and quiet drama. It pairs nicely with a slim oak, black, or dark walnut frame that echoes the refined, illustrative feel. Soft neutral walls, warm woods, and textiles in ivory, charcoal, or muted green could help the white bird stand out, while small accents in burgundy or dusty red can subtly pick up the fruit tones. For a more collected Nordic look, it could also sit well alongside other nature-inspired prints with delicate botanical or vintage details.
