Posters for your kids room

A kids room is one of the few spaces in the home where anything goes. Bright colours, playful characters, inspiring words or dreamy illustrated worlds — the right poster can spark imagination, reflect your child's personality, and make a room feel like it was made just for them. And as tastes change, swapping out a print is one of the easiest ways to give the room a whole new feel without redecorating.

Choosing the right art for your kids room

The best kids room wall art grows with the child. For younger children, illustrated animals, soft colour palettes, and simple bold shapes tend to work well. As they get older, typographic prints with motivational quotes, nature photography, and abstract art all make great choices. It helps to involve the child in the decision. A poster they have chosen themselves is one they will genuinely connect with, and that connection is exactly what makes a room feel theirs.

How to hang art in a kids room

Placement in a kids room is worth thinking about differently to the rest of the home. Hanging prints at a child's eye level rather than adult height makes the art feel like part of their world. A single large print above the bed or desk creates a natural focal point, while a small gallery wall low on the wall gives you room to mix sizes and styles into something that feels playful and personal. As your child grows, the collection can grow with them.
