    • A sand-coloured horse on long legs wearing a black wide-brimmed hat and a diamond saddle blanket, against a warm grey sky over deep brick ground
Simple rectangular light wood picture frame on a white background
    • A woman in a vast pink crinoline reclining against a red couch in an oil painting, with YOU ARE AN ICON set across it in heavy cream type
Simple rectangular light wood picture frame on a white background
    • A figure in a striped shirt, black trousers and a wide black hat caught mid-step against a red and dusty pink harlequin wall
Simple rectangular light wood picture frame on a white background

Whimsical Donkey arrives on canvas with its cream donkey set against deep burgundy, head lowered to graze and its back under a harlequin blanket of red, blue, green and white diamonds. The woven surface suits the hand-painted original, where brush texture stays visible in every flat field and no checkerboard square is quite square. As wall art it has a more elevated, gallery-like presence than a print on paper, and the canvas arrives ready to hang. A float frame adds a narrow shadow gap and makes it the more exclusive of the two formats. The four blue boots still do all the work.

    Styling tips

Hung as it is, the canvas keeps a soft edge that suits the painted borders without competing with them. A float frame in black sharpens the burgundy and picks up the boots, while oak pulls the whole thing towards folk art. It belongs with warm textiles, kilims, wool and terracotta, and holds its own against a strong wall colour. Hang it low over a bench to keep the informal tone the motif asks for.

    Size guide

The size of our posters always refers to the actual paper size — not the motif. Some posters include a white border that frames the artwork, similar to a passepartout. Where this is the case, it will be noted in the product description and is also visible in the product images.

Our sizes in cm and inches:

    • 21x30 cm / 8.3x11.8"

    • 30x40 cm / 11.8x15.7"

    • 40x50 cm / 15.7x19.7"

    • 50x50 cm / 19.7x19.7"

    • 50x70 cm / 19.7x27.6"

    • 70x100 cm / 27.6x39.4"

When choosing a frame, make sure to match it to the poster size. Our frames are designed to fit our posters exactly — a 50x70 cm poster takes a 50x70 cm frame. No trimming or adjusting needed.

We offer a wide range of sizes to suit any wall, from smaller formats perfect for shelves and art walls, to larger statement pieces that anchor a room. Not sure which size is right for your space? Feel free to contact us — we're happy to help.
