One soft brown shape stands against a field of mustard ochre, drawn with the rounded limbs and pinched waists of a cut-paper form. It reads as coral, as a tree, as a figure with raised arms, depending on how long you look, and the artist leaves that open. The surface carries a dry brush texture with small scratches showing through, so the flat colour has a printed, hand-pulled quality.
