    Scandi Mood

    3 posters · 2 × 30x40 + 21x30 cm

Scandi Mood is a small, relaxed gallery wall with three posters in a loose, staggered layout. Tropical Garden by Julia Hallström Hjort brings white line drawings of leaves on soft sage green. Live Jazz adds stacked orange, black and olive shapes under bold lettering, and Quadrat finishes the group with quarter-circle shapes in burnt orange and deep navy on beige. Two 30x40 cm posters and one 21x30 cm poster keep the scale modest, so the wall fits above a bed, a desk or a narrow sofa. Mixed oak and black frames give it an easy, collected feel.

    Styling tips

    • Frame the calmer prints in oak and give Live Jazz a black frame. The one dark frame sharpens the lettering and gives the group a clear focal point.
    • Keep the bedding in white linen with a sand-coloured quilt, so the green and orange stay the only strong colours in the room.
    • Repeat the dark tones in small things, such as a pair of black ceramic cups on a speckled side table.
    • Hang the group where daylight falls across the wall. Soft side light from a window keeps the colours warm and natural.

    Hang the wall

With 6 cm between the frames, the wall measures about 85 × 95 cm. It works best above furniture that is 110–120 cm wide, or along the side of a bed, as in the picture. Above a bed, leave 15–25 cm to the lowest frame. Start with Live Jazz, hang Tropical Garden below it and offset to the left, then place Quadrat to the right, level with the gap between the two.
