Mod Minimalism gathers six posters into a relaxed salon wall. Two 19.7x27.6 in prints form the core: The Current Standpoint Of The Mahatmas Ver.2 by Hilma af Klint, a black and white circle on beige, and Silly Small Glass by Ruby Hughes, a hand-drawn bottle and glass on deep green. Four 11.8x15.7 in prints fill in around them: the blue letters of CIAO, the fine line of Interlude, the black and white curves of Gaudeo by Franziska Loos and the colorful shapes of Love for Spring by Karolina Kling. Black, oak and white frames keep it varied but calm. It suits a living room, hallway or dining area.

    Styling tips

    • Mix black, oak and white frames, but repeat black and oak so the single white frame around Silly Small Glass becomes a deliberate accent.
    • Keep the objects below the wall in the same quiet tones: a pale oak bench, cream ceramics and an olive-brown jug.
    • A black table lamp and a cream lounge chair repeat the contrast between the dark and pale prints.
    • A warm beige wall, as in the picture, ties the cream backgrounds together, so six different motifs still look like one wall.

    Hang the wall

With 2.5 in between the frames, the wall measures about 63 × 53 in. It suits a low bench or sideboard of 83–91 in, but a shorter bench also works, as in the picture. Place the center of the group 57–59 in from the floor. Lay all six frames out on the floor first. Hang Silly Small Glass, place CIAO directly above it with the right edges aligned, then build out to both sides.
