Animal Lover

2 posters · 2 × 19.7x27.6 in

Animal Lover pairs two hand-drawn posters by Postery that feel made for a child's room. Tiger's Roar shows three orange tigers and a hand-lettered roar on soft beige, while Dog and Cuddle has a person hugging a big pink dog. The loose, sketchy lines and warm palette of orange, pink and brown link the two, and the pale backgrounds keep the wall light. Hung in 19.7x27.6 in oak frames, with the dog stepped higher than the tigers, the pair has a playful rhythm. It suits a kids' room, a playroom or a family hallway.

Styling tips

• Oak frames suit the warm, hand-drawn style and sit well with light wood and painted furniture.
• Repeat the pink and orange in small things, like a cup, a lamp or a toy, so the colors carry through the room.
• A soft yellow bench or table below the wall adds a cheerful note without competing with the art.
• Keep the wall a warm beige, as in the picture, so the pale poster backgrounds blend in and the drawings stand out.

Hang the wall

With 2.5 in between the frames and Dog and Cuddle hung about 12 in higher, the wall measures about 45 × 41 in. It works best above furniture that is 59–67 in wide. Without furniture below, place the center of the group 57–59 in from the floor, or a little lower in a child's room. Above a bench or desk, leave 6–10 in to the lowest frame. Hang Tiger's Roar first, then add Dog and Cuddle to its right.
