The bands run diagonally across the frame in sand, lilac grey and rust, each one a different hardness and so a different texture, from chalk smooth to splintered. A thin band of grass holds the top edge and a pale sky closes the composition, so the only straight line in the picture is the one the camera drew. Nothing in it has been arranged. A visible margin frames the artwork and adds to the calm of the composition.

    Styling tips

    Oak could work well here, since it carries the sand tones and keeps the greys from going cold. A thin black frame sharpens the diagonal if you want more graphic edge. Above a sideboard or a console the wide format fills the wall without needing a second print. It pairs nicely with rattan, stoneware and furniture in light oak.

    Size guide

    The size of our posters always refers to the actual paper size — not the motif. Some posters include a white border that frames the artwork, similar to a passepartout. Where this is the case, it will be noted in the product description and is also visible in the product images.
