Perspective Poster

Perspective pairs a short statement with an aerial photograph set into the middle of a sage grey sheet. The picture looks straight down on a curving sandbank where rust orange meets a sweep of acid yellow and a deep shadow cuts through the centre, framed close enough that the scale is impossible to read. The headline sits above it in heavy capitals, and the rest of the line is repeated in a paler tone across the ground so the words echo rather than shout. One image, two typefaces and a single idea about how much the vantage point decides.

A black frame could work well here, since the headline is already set in black and the picture carries all the colour. Oak softens the contrast if the wall runs cool. Above a desk it does what the line says and keeps a workspace from closing in. It pairs nicely with brushed steel, dark wood and ceramics in sand or clay.
