    In the same series

    • Four large curved fields in flat cobalt, sage green, deep navy and warm umber around a pale chalk wedge
    • Translucent rectangles and curved fields layered in navy, cobalt, cornflower and sand, held by a wide greige border
    • Olive, mustard, sage and cream fields sliding over one another above a soft blue corner, held by a wide grey border

Harmony in Umber overlaps four broad curved fields until the picture reads as a landscape without ever becoming one. A dusty mauve sweeps across the top, pale blue and chalk white meet underneath it, and a deep olive umber rises from the lower right, each one brushed thin enough that the one below shows through at the edges. A single hairline in pale gold runs across the lower half and is the only drawn mark in the picture, cutting across three fields without belonging to any of them. Everything else is paint laid wet into wet and left to find its own edges.

    Styling tips

Oak could work well here, since it follows the umber and keeps the cooler fields from dominating. A thin black frame adds definition if the wall is pale. In a hallway or above a bench the soft transitions settle a narrow space. It pairs nicely with pale pine, sheepskin and stoneware in a muted glaze.

    Size guide

The size of our posters always refers to the actual paper size — not the motif. Some posters include a white border that frames the artwork, similar to a passepartout. Where this is the case, it will be noted in the product description and is also visible in the product images.

When choosing a frame, make sure to match it to the poster size. Our frames are designed to fit our posters exactly — a 50×70 cm poster takes a 50×70 cm frame. No trimming or adjusting needed.

We offer a wide range of sizes to suit any wall, from smaller formats perfect for shelves and gallery walls, to larger statement pieces that anchor a room. Not sure which size is right for your space? Feel free to contact us — we're happy to help.

    Material

Our posters are printed on 200 g/m² premium matte paper made from FSC® Mix Credit Paper 100%. The paper is archive-proof, meaning it won't yellow over time, and all printing is done in modern facilities with ISO 14001 certification.

Our frames come in a variety of colours and materials, all ethically sourced and produced with care for people and the environment. Available in multiple sizes to suit any wall and any home. If you have any questions about our products, don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team.

    MEET THE ARTIST

    Mareike Böhmer

Mareike Böhmer is a freelance artist from Germany whose work spans abstract art and nature photography. Her journey began in 2012 with vibrant, geometric abstract graphics, before frequent travels to Scandinavia softened her approach, drawing her toward more organic forms and a gentler colour palette. In the past year and a half, she has expanded into larger-scale paintings on canvas, alongside her earlier paper-based work, while her photography leans into minimalist composition and distinctive lighting, capturing the same meditative balance she finds in nature. Her work has been featured in interior magazines including ELLE Decoration, Schöner Wohnen, and VTwonen, and is part of select collections at IKEA.
