Terms for content you share with us

These terms apply when you let Postery use content you have created — a photograph or a video — on our website, in our channels, or in our marketing. The agreement is between you and Postery AB, Drottninggatan 5 1tr, 411 14 Gothenburg, Sweden (company reg. no. 559128-6405).

By submitting content to us, by replying to a request from us with #yespostery, or by otherwise agreeing to our use of your content, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and that you accept them in full. On this page, "content" means any photograph, video, image, audio, graphic, or text you share with us.

Your Agreement With Us

By uploading content, or by replying to a request from Postery with #yespostery, you grant us the licence rights set out on this page. We agree to be bound by these terms too. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Postery AB. We rely on your permission to run our business and will incur costs in doing so, so please read this page carefully before you agree.

Who Can Take Part

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal right to enter into this agreement and to grant us the rights described here.

Ownership Of Your Content

You confirm that your content is free from any claim, right, or restriction that would limit the rights you are granting us, and that our use of it will not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, moral rights, right of privacy, right of publicity, or any other intellectual property rights. You also confirm that you hold all rights, title, and interest needed to grant us these rights.

People In Your Content

You confirm that you have permission from everyone who appears in your content. Where a child under 18 appears, you confirm that you have permission from their parent or guardian.

No Payment

You grant us these rights voluntarily and will not receive payment or compensation from Postery for them. Neither you nor your successors, heirs, legal representatives, or assigns will receive or request payment for these rights at any point.

How We Use Your Content

You grant Postery a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, sub-licensable, royalty-free licence to use, access, download, store, copy, publish, distribute, communicate, exhibit, reproduce, print, broadcast, display, sub-license, and assign your content. We are under no obligation to use it. These rights apply across all media — including print, electronic, and digital — for advertising, marketing, promotion, education, publicity, public relations, and editorial purposes.

Apart from the licence you grant us here, you keep all rights to your content. If your content includes material owned by Postery or by a third party — characters or other elements protected by copyright, trademark, or other law — your right to use that content remains governed by those laws and by the rights of the parties involved.

Credit

We will make reasonable efforts to credit you whenever we use your content, provided you have given us your name or social media handle. You agree to waive your moral rights in favour of Postery, and a failure to credit you does not constitute a breach of this agreement by Postery, our directors, officers, agents, employees, or sub-licensees.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Postery AB, our directors, officers, agents, employees, and anyone else we are responsible for in law, against all losses, claims, demands, awards, judgments, actions, and proceedings arising out of or connected with this agreement — including claims by third parties alleging infringement or misappropriation of intellectual property rights in your content — except where the loss or damage arises from Postery's own negligence.

You also agree that neither you nor your successors, heirs, legal representatives, or assigns will bring proceedings against Postery regarding copyright or moral rights in the content.

Withdrawing Your Consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us at help@postery.com, contact our partner Cevoid at info@cevoid.com, or submit a request directly at upload.cevoid.com/data/remove.

We will stop using your content as soon as reasonably possible after we receive your request. Material already printed or distributed before that point may remain in circulation.

Your Personal Data

When you share content with us, we process personal data such as your name, your social media handle, and any personal data visible in the content itself. We do this to display your content, to credit you, and to keep a record of your permission. Our partner Cevoid processes this data on our behalf as part of collecting and managing content. Changes To These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and take effect once published. The version in force at the time you gave your permission applies to the content covered by that permission.

Governing Law

You shall comply with all laws that apply to your obligations under this agreement. These terms are governed by Swedish law, without reference to its conflict of law provisions, and both parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts. This agreement benefits and binds the successors, heirs, legal representatives, and assigns of both you and Postery AB.
