    In the same series

    • Two white egrets over a misty ink landscape, a dark peak rising through green and grey washes and a red disc as sun
    • A lynx at full stretch painted in short dry strokes on bare kraft, front paws reaching and one amber eye looking ahead
    • A single moth with wings fully open on kraft paper, drawn in olive and grey with flat red blocks along the leading edges
    • One large bloom and its leaves cut from a single rust brown block on bare kraft, stems running the full height

Cascading Foliage hangs a curtain of small leaves from the top of the sheet and lets it thin out as it falls, until the last strands trail off against bare grey ground. The leaves are drawn in black and pale straw over a flecked surface, dense enough at the top to read as shadow and sparse enough at the bottom to count individually. Gravity does all the composition here, and the lower third of the sheet is left almost entirely open. Nothing is centred and nothing is symmetrical. It behaves more like weather than like a plant study, which is what keeps it from feeling decorative.

    Styling tips

A thin black frame could work well here, since it follows the darkest leaves and keeps the grey ground crisp. Oak softens the whole thing if you want it warmer. Above a chair or in a corner by a window the downward movement suits a tall wall. It pairs nicely with bouclé, herringbone floors and ceramics in off white.

    Size guide

The size of our posters always refers to the actual paper size — not the motif. Some posters include a white border that frames the artwork, similar to a passepartout. Where this is the case, it will be noted in the product description and is also visible in the product images.

When choosing a frame, make sure to match it to the poster size. Our frames are designed to fit our posters exactly — a 50×70 cm poster takes a 50×70 cm frame. No trimming or adjusting needed.

We offer a wide range of sizes to suit any wall, from smaller formats perfect for shelves and gallery walls, to larger statement pieces that anchor a room. Not sure which size is right for your space? Feel free to contact us — we're happy to help.

    Material

Our posters are printed on 200 g/m² premium matte paper made from FSC® Mix Credit Paper 100%. The paper is archive-proof, meaning it won't yellow over time, and all printing is done in modern facilities with ISO 14001 certification.

Our frames come in a variety of colours and materials, all ethically sourced and produced with care for people and the environment. Available in multiple sizes to suit any wall and any home. If you have any questions about our products, don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team.

Our products are sourced from carefully selected suppliers across the Nordics, Europe, and Asia. For example, our posters are printed at leading printing facilities in Northern Europe, certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and operating as 100% climate-neutral since 2011.

We care about the conditions under which our products are made. If you'd like to know more about the origin or production conditions of a specific product, reach out to our customer support team — we're happy to share what we know.

    MEET THE ARTIST

    Josie George

Drawing endless inspiration from the natural world, Josie translates botanical forms and intricate patterns into richly layered compositions. Her work balances delicate technique with bold, confident detail, each piece carrying a vintage sensibility that feels both nostalgic and current. A self-taught artist, Josie came to art after a career in the medical field, and that precision and patience still shows — an eye trained to notice detail now turned toward beauty. She builds each design layer by layer, letting pattern and colour carry a story of their own, and her work has found a home in collaborations with notable brands, resonating for its rich detail and timeless, storytelling quality.
