    • Grey-blue cloud dragged across the sky with dusty pink burning through above an ochre field and pale horizon

Faded Field looks across open ground towards a soft grey rise, with the light coming from above rather than from any visible sun. The sky is laid on thin and pale, the hill is one long smoothed sweep of grey, and the foreground breaks into rust and terracotta where the brush was pushed harder. A single dark passage sits at the foot of the hill and gives the picture its depth. The canvas weave shows through everywhere, which keeps the whole thing soft. It is a landscape reduced to three bands and a change of temperature.

    Styling tips

Pale oak or a warm white frame keeps the picture as quiet as it wants to be, and a wide mat board suits it if you want more air. It pairs nicely with linen, wool and unpainted wood, and works above a bed or a reading chair. Keep neighbouring prints in the same muted range rather than anything saturated.

    Size guide

The size of our posters always refers to the actual paper size — not the motif. Some posters include a white border that frames the artwork, similar to a passepartout. Where this is the case, it will be noted in the product description and is also visible in the product images.

Our sizes in cm and inches:

    • 21x30 cm / 8.3x11.8"

    • 30x40 cm / 11.8x15.7"

    • 40x50 cm / 15.7x19.7"

    • 50x50 cm / 19.7x19.7"

    • 50x70 cm / 19.7x27.6"

    • 70x100 cm / 27.6x39.4"

When choosing a frame, make sure to match it to the poster size. Our frames are designed to fit our posters exactly — a 50x70 cm poster takes a 50x70 cm frame. No trimming or adjusting needed.

We offer a wide range of sizes to suit any wall, from smaller formats perfect for shelves and art walls, to larger statement pieces that anchor a room. Not sure which size is right for your space? Feel free to contact us — we're happy to help.
