    In the same series

    • A low sun over open water, smoothed by long exposure into amber bands with one faint darker shoreline
    • Deep blue giving way to peach and gold, then violet, rust and sand pulled sideways into narrow streaks
    • Flat water before sunrise, with pale lilac and apricot above and soft teal bands holding the same light

Claret is a sky taken apart into horizontal bands and reassembled without any detail left in it. Mauve and dusty rose drift across the upper two thirds in long smooth streaks, thickening and thinning the way cloud does, and a deep wine red rises from the bottom edge in one solid mass. Where the two meet the colour blurs rather than breaks. There is no horizon, no sun and nothing to identify, only a change of temperature from top to bottom. It works as a colour field as readily as a landscape.

    Styling tips

Dark wood or black suits the wine red, while a white frame keeps the upper half light. It pairs nicely with velvet, warm grey and aged brass, and sits well in a bedroom or a dining room. Give it space rather than hanging it in a crowded group. The four Opa Studio pieces also work as a grid.

    Size guide

The size of our posters always refers to the actual paper size — not the motif. Some posters include a white border that frames the artwork, similar to a passepartout. Where this is the case, it will be noted in the product description and is also visible in the product images.

Our sizes in cm and inches:

    • 21x30 cm / 8.3x11.8"

    • 30x40 cm / 11.8x15.7"

    • 40x50 cm / 15.7x19.7"

    • 50x50 cm / 19.7x19.7"

    • 50x70 cm / 19.7x27.6"

    • 70x100 cm / 27.6x39.4"

When choosing a frame, make sure to match it to the poster size. Our frames are designed to fit our posters exactly — a 50x70 cm poster takes a 50x70 cm frame. No trimming or adjusting needed.

We offer a wide range of sizes to suit any wall, from smaller formats perfect for shelves and art walls, to larger statement pieces that anchor a room. Not sure which size is right for your space? Feel free to contact us — we're happy to help.
