Wild Grass Poster

Dry grasses lean together in soft afternoon light, feathered seed heads picked out against a blurred golden field. The whole frame stays in one warm register, from bone to light brown. Simple and quiet, the photograph brings a little of the outdoors inside without any strong colour. It works especially well in rooms already built around linen, wood and off-white, and the soft focus behind the seed heads keeps it restful rather than busy. A white margin frames the image and gives it room to breathe on a pale wall, in a frame or simply clipped to a hanger.

Grasses like these could work beautifully in a bedroom, where the warm tones make a room feel softer. They pair nicely with washed linen, sheepskin and light oak, and look good above a low bench or a bedside table. Hang the print alone for calm, or beside another neutral photograph for a quiet pair. Oak keeps it natural, while black adds contrast if the walls are pale.
