    • A leafy branch cut in black against a black square on warm cream, the leaves switching to cream inside the square

The Four Winds sets four doves inside a black square, each one turned a quarter further than the last so the group reads as a pinwheel. The birds are cut from straight lines and clean arcs with a single dot for the eye, and the black between them is as shaped as the birds themselves, so the negative space does half the work. A wide greige border surrounds the panel and keeps the composition from pressing against the frame. Two colours, no shading, no outline. It is mid century graphic design more than illustration.

    Styling tips

A thin white or black frame could work well here, since the print already carries its own border and does not need a second one. Light oak warms the greige if the room runs cool. Above a low table or a bench the square panel gives the wall a clear centre. It pairs nicely with herringbone floors, pale plaster walls and sculptural ceramics.

    Size guide

The size of our posters always refers to the actual paper size — not the motif. Some posters include a white border that frames the artwork, similar to a passepartout. Where this is the case, it will be noted in the product description and is also visible in the product images.

Our sizes in cm and inches:

    • 21x30 cm / 8.3x11.8"

    • 30x40 cm / 11.8x15.7"

    • 40x50 cm / 15.7x19.7"

    • 50x50 cm / 19.7x19.7"

    • 50x70 cm / 19.7x27.6"

    • 70x100 cm / 27.6x39.4"

When choosing a frame, make sure to match it to the poster size. Our frames are designed to fit our posters exactly — a 50x70 cm poster takes a 50x70 cm frame. No trimming or adjusting needed.

We offer a wide range of sizes to suit any wall, from smaller formats perfect for shelves and art walls, to larger statement pieces that anchor a room. Not sure which size is right for your space? Feel free to contact us — we're happy to help.
