    • Three soft masses folding over one another, each filled with fine concentric lines, drifting from taupe to deep blue green
Simple rectangular light wood picture frame on a white background
    • Broad cream fingers stacked down a pale grey ground, darkening to soft bronze along their right edges
Simple rectangular light wood picture frame on a white background
    • Soft blocks of grey and sand on warm white with long graphite arcs drawn straight across their edges
Simple rectangular light wood picture frame on a white background

Subtle Calm carries translucent fields of warm white, sand and cool grey across the canvas, layered until the overlaps are the only thing marking where one ends, with a few fine graphite strokes dropped in last. The woven surface suits washes this thin and keeps the pale layers from reading as blank. As wall art it has a more elevated, gallery like presence and arrives ready to hang. A float frame adds a narrow shadow gap around the edge and makes canvas the more exclusive of the two formats.

    Styling tips

Hung as it comes, the canvas lets the fields run to the edge, which suits how little the picture asks for. A float frame in black could work well if you want one firm line around it. Above a sideboard or a bed it lowers the temperature of the room. It pairs nicely with cane, bouclé and matte black ceramics.

    Size guide

The size of our posters always refers to the actual paper size — not the motif. Some posters include a white border that frames the artwork, similar to a passepartout. Where this is the case, it will be noted in the product description and is also visible in the product images.

Our sizes in cm and inches:

    • 21x30 cm / 8.3x11.8"

    • 30x40 cm / 11.8x15.7"

    • 40x50 cm / 15.7x19.7"

    • 50x50 cm / 19.7x19.7"

    • 50x70 cm / 19.7x27.6"

    • 70x100 cm / 27.6x39.4"

When choosing a frame, make sure to match it to the poster size. Our frames are designed to fit our posters exactly — a 50x70 cm poster takes a 50x70 cm frame. No trimming or adjusting needed.

We offer a wide range of sizes to suit any wall, from smaller formats perfect for shelves and art walls, to larger statement pieces that anchor a room. Not sure which size is right for your space? Feel free to contact us — we're happy to help.

    MEET THE ARTIST

    Alma

Alma is a design and art studio inspired by natural colors, movements and textures. With a keen eye for organic and pure forms observed in everyday life, both in a scenic landscape and in a banal situation, they seek expression through the aesthetic languages of minimalism, abstraction and geometry. Their process is one of quiet refinement — distilling each piece down to only what truly belongs, allowing balance and simplicity to do the talking. The result is work that carries a calm, grounding presence, settling naturally into the spaces and rhythms of daily life.
