    Styling tips

    Hung as it comes, the canvas lets the mustard run to the edge, which suits how tightly the letters are cropped. A float frame in black could work well if you want a harder boundary around the colour. It pairs nicely with dark wood, chrome and glass. In a corner with a chair and a lamp it carries the whole wall on its own.

    Treechild

    Nina, known as Treechild, works from her home in Germany, where a lifelong love of colour and flowers finds its way into every piece she creates. With tablet and camera, brush and watercolour, she moves easily between digital work and traditional media, letting the medium shift with her mood. Her artistic streak took root in childhood, sparked by visits to exhibitions and vernissages with her father, and grew through years of teaching herself to draw and photograph. Guided more by feeling than by plan, she lets each day shape what she creates, keeping her work spontaneous, curious, and full of quiet wit.
