    • Two leopards in deep navy and gold on a dusty blush ground, one curled above and one stretched below, their tails meeting in an S-curve
Simple rectangular light wood picture frame on a white background
    • A tiger drawn in cream line on a deep speckled red panel, head turned down and back, held by a dusty pink border
Simple rectangular light wood picture frame on a white background

Black Gold Leopards brings several stylised big cats in metallic gold and taupe onto a deep black canvas, overlapping and cropped so the motif reads as pattern. The woven canvas surface suits the matte, paper-grained gold, keeping the metallic areas rich rather than shiny. As wall art it carries real weight, with a more elevated, gallery-like presence than paper and a ready-to-hang finish. A float frame adds a fine shadow gap at the edge, which gives the black ground somewhere to end and makes the canvas the more exclusive choice. Against pale walls and light wood the contrast does most of the work.

    Styling tips

Left as it comes, the canvas lets the black run right to the edge, which suits the boldness of the motif. A float frame in oak could work well if you want to frame that darkness rather than let it dissolve into the wall. It pairs nicely with bouclé, herringbone parquet and pale ceramics, where the gold can catch daylight through the day. Hung beside a window in a living room it becomes the room's one strong note.

    Size guide

The size of our posters always refers to the actual paper size — not the motif. Some posters include a white border that frames the artwork, similar to a passepartout. Where this is the case, it will be noted in the product description and is also visible in the product images.

Our sizes in cm and inches:

    • 21x30 cm / 8.3x11.8"

    • 30x40 cm / 11.8x15.7"

    • 40x50 cm / 15.7x19.7"

    • 50x50 cm / 19.7x19.7"

    • 50x70 cm / 19.7x27.6"

    • 70x100 cm / 27.6x39.4"

When choosing a frame, make sure to match it to the poster size. Our frames are designed to fit our posters exactly — a 50x70 cm poster takes a 50x70 cm frame. No trimming or adjusting needed.

We offer a wide range of sizes to suit any wall, from smaller formats perfect for shelves and art walls, to larger statement pieces that anchor a room. Not sure which size is right for your space? Feel free to contact us — we're happy to help.

    MEET THE ARTIST

    Josie George

Drawing endless inspiration from the natural world, Josie translates botanical forms and intricate patterns into richly layered compositions. Her work balances delicate technique with bold, confident detail, each piece carrying a vintage sensibility that feels both nostalgic and current. A self-taught artist, Josie came to art after a career in the medical field, and that precision and patience still shows — an eye trained to notice detail now turned toward beauty. She builds each design layer by layer, letting pattern and colour carry a story of their own, and her work has found a home in collaborations with notable brands, resonating for its rich detail and timeless, storytelling quality.
